In 2001 I co-founded Riverhead Networks Inc., a company that provides systems to protect from Denial of Service attacks. I was the chief scientist of the company. The company was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2004. I joined the school of computer science at the Interdisciplinary Center, Herzliya in 2004. In 2010 I received the prestigious starting grant from the European Research Council (project title: "Deep Packet Inspection of Next Generation Network Devices").
